It seems like I am adding posts only after Holidays at my parents. I'll try to break that habit...tomorrow. We spent Easter at the 'rents in North Carolina. We took some time on the way down and stopped at the Smithsonian's Air and Space extension museum located next to Dulles airport. It was a fabulous show of air and space craft. I could have stayed all day, the family decided 5 hours was enough. You can see some of our pictures below. Here is a video of the walk into the Space Area. That's the Enterprise Space Shuttle.


If you go I strongly recommend taking the first Docent Tour that starts around 10:30. Very knowledgeable retired gentlemen take groups of 10-15 on tours of the museum. It was about an hour and a half and gave us a good understanding of what was located in the museum. It was big. There was also a fake Air Traffic Control Tower that we watched the planes at Dulles taking off and landing from. We made it to Ed and Nancy's and had a great time. Nanny came over and we played cards and talked about the old days. Check out these two pictures I have courtesy of Liz.
