Father Daughter Dance
Hope and I attended a Father/Daughter dance this past Saturday.
It was run by the Girl Scouts and held at the local middle school. It was a very fun event. We were having fun before we even got there. We were taking pictures in the back yard. The First being the picture for relatives, the second being the 'Brady Bunch Pose'. We made it to the dance registered, got our supplies and went in. Don't forget, it's a Scou
t run event, so you always get supplies. Parts for the crafta activities and tickets to the Sundae Bar. Hope even got a patch for the event. The School Caf was decorated for the dance and looked great. There were plenty of snacks, drinks and lots to do. In a nutshell, this is the training ground for all girls and how they will act at the proms and wedding receptions in their future. The video shows how it looked early on.After some snacks and a walk around
seeing who was there we made our way out to the craft table and put together a Aloha Picture frame, a Hawaiian Lei, and a nifty cool DAD keychain. After finishing the crafts we did a little dancing. We both
agreed that was enough of that and we moved onto the Sundae bar. Mmmmmm. There were some more games and the infamous Limbo dance. I do think I remember hearing the Chicken Dance at one point also. When the dance was over we had every intention of going
home and Wii'ing out, but we were both bushed and settled on a movie. This was a very fun time. And just think, the early on plans for this weekend were to be camping up at Knoebles. Well, it rained there over the weekend so this was the perfect choice. I hope Hope(i love using her name next to hope) asks me again next year.
